A photography proposal is a document presented by a photographer or a photography company for a prospective client that gives the client a detailed outline about the photography company’s services, their past work, the deliverables they will achieve for the client, and how much would the project cost in total.
A wedding photography contract should have terms and conditions mentioned about cancellation of the event (usually a 20% penalty fee is applied), ownership of the product (product usually belongs to clients), project deliverables to be achieved, etc. You can also include other details as you see fit to avoid misunderstandings at a later date.
Begin your proposal with an introduction of yourself and your USP (mention the services you provide, the past work you’ve done, etc). Create a set of project deliverables and the pricing of those deliverables. End the proposal with terms and conditions.
